My Lord! bestow on them thy Mercy even as they cherished me in childhood'" (17:23-24).

After God, my mother has been the source of my strength, my success, my life-force. Everything I am I owe to her. She taught me how to be a daughter how to be a wife; how to be a mother ; how to be a sister . Most importantly, she gave me God, and she taught me how to worship and see Him in everything that I do. She ingrained in me the importance of developing a personal relationship with God and developing that relationship throughout my life. Had it not been for my mother, I most probably would not have either known or discovered the beauty of the worship and love of God.

A person came to Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and asked, "Who among people should I exhibit goodness and kindness?" He (ﷺ) said, "Your mother". He again asked, ''Who next?" "Your mother", the Prophet (ﷺ) replied again. He asked, "Who next?" He (the Prophet (ﷺ)) said again, "Your mother." He again asked, "Then who?" Thereupon he (ﷺ) said," Then your father."⁣⠀

A dua for all our parents, living or departed. May Allah Subhanhu wa taala (swt) enable us to do good deeds, be the coolness of our parents eyes and a means of sadaqae jaariyah for our parents. May He swt give our parents, who are alive, a long, happy and healthy life full of emaan and those who have departed, highest ranks in Jannnat ul Firdaus Aameen!

Sabr (patience) is when, regardless of how harsh life gets, you remember wholeheartedly that Allah has beautiful things in store for you.

Sabr is beautiful because Sabr is worth all the good that comes with it. And remember, Sabr is to always be kinder than how you feel. That’s when you’ll truly embody beautiful patience. Sabr is the only action which Allah has promised that He will recompense without any measure. The reward of sabr is limitless. Meaning that all of the other actions have a fixed reward, but not Sabr. This is the one action which has no fixed reward. That shows how great and tremendous is the recompense. Just imagine then the bounties and the pleasures that await you in this world and especially in the Hereafter because of your patience.

“… those who patiently persevere (al-sabiruna) will truly receive a reward without measure” (Surah Az-Zumar, 39:10)

When the time gets tough remind yourself of how pleased Allah (swt) is with Sabr. Remember that Sabr comes from Him. So ask Him to pour down upon you Sabr.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Victory will come with patience, relief will come with affliction, and ‘with hardship comes ease.’”

It is You we worship and You we ask for help” (Q

It is You we worship and You we ask for help” (Qur’an 1:5)

After recounting Allah’s majesty and mercy, and after realizing that we will indeed return to Him, in this ayah our attention is brought to the essence of what it is we are supposed to do here on earth – worship Allah and seek His help in doing so.

It is You We Worship – Sincerity

When we say “You alone do we worship,” we essentially declare our ikhlas (sincerity) and remind ourselves of it. The primary pillar of Islamic belief clearly states that there is nothing worthy of worship except Allah. Fully accepting the oneness of God is to accept that He is distinct from everything else. No one has the right to be invoked, supplicated, prayed to, or shown any act of worship, but God alone. God alone is the Almighty, the Creator, the Sovereign, and the Sustainer of everything in the whole universe. He manages all affairs. He stands in need of none of His creatures, and all His creatures depend on Him for all that they need.

You Alone We Ask for Help

“You alone we ask for help” meaning that we do not seek aid from anyone but You because the affair in its totality is under Your control Alone, no one else has even an atom’s weight of control over it. “You Alone” has been repeated twice in the verse to emphasise that both worship and asking for help are matters that should be directed to Allah Alone.

PUT YOUR TRUST IN ALLAH
“And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.” [Qur’an 4:132 ]

Allah is telling us that everything in this world is His and He has full control of it all, so it makes no sense to put our trust in anyone or anything else, because everything else will die, everything else will perish and Allah will remain.

“And rely upon the Ever-Living who does not die, and exalt [Allah] with His praise.” [Qur’an, 25:58] “[He is] the Lord of the East and the West; there is no deity except Him, so take Him as Disposer of [your] affairs.” [Qur’an, 73:9]

Train yourself to trust Al-wakeel: It may not come naturally to you to trust fully in Al-Wakeel, but it can be done. It requires practice. The first time you do it you may be apprehensive, but when you see the outcome is the best one for you, the next time you put your trust in Allah it will be even easier because you know from previous experience that Allah truly has your back.

May Al-Wakeel make us of those who put all our trust in Him and find comfort and tranquility in doing so. May He grant us the best in this world and the next. And may He eliminate the uncertainty we may have in our hearts.

There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Ind

There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.”(Quran 21:87)
This dua was made by Prophet Yunus (p.b.u.h.) – and Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) written for receiving patience during hardships in when and acknowledging our mistakes.This Dhikr is one we should all keep close to our hearts. It is the Dhikr of the hopeless, when one has been blinded by all the darkness in their life; this is the Dhikr that provides the light for one who wishes to see.
The story of Prophet Yunus (p.b.u.h.) show us that even in the darkest depths of the ocean, one was so sure of his trust in Allah, that he knew there was no way Allah would ever leave him. Whatever we are going through right now, whatever darkness we are surrounded by, if we look to Him, there is no way Allah will leave us.
We must hold firm to our belief and know that Allah will remove whatever burdens or difficulties we are facing, but we are only rewarded if we are patient at the time when the difficulty comes. This is the time to slow down and try to draw closer to the Almighty. See this as an opportunity to get closer to Him and to pray like never before. .

All praise be to Allah ta’ala, the One who has all the perfect and proper attributes.

Allah ﷻ says,

‎قُلْ إِن كُنتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللَّهَ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

❝Say, (O Muhammad), ‘If you should love Allah, then follow me, (so) Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.’❞ [Ali Imran 3:31].

If someone truly loves Allah, then he should prove it by following the Prophet’s teaching. We must follow the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to prove that we love him. Let’s celebrate him every day. Let’s light up our hearts with the beacon of his message. Let’s engrave those beautiful stories of his life, which we memorize and narrate, on our actions. Let’s check if our deeds are compatible with our claims of love towards him. In following him, lies the secret of Allah’s love, mercy, and forgiveness for us.

Sending salutations upon the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) is amongst the most virtuous acts of worship. Rewards are written; a person’s sins are forgiven; and his status is elevated.

May Allah ta’ala make us among those who will fly his banner and be gathered with the soliheen on the Day of Judgment 🤲🏻
